Description:
A vertical pier with two openings carved out of it. The more visible surface is made of 1 inch strips of aluminum. The narrower surfaces on the inside and outer side surface perpendicular to the aluminum surface, are dark grey, nonshiny, and composed of material like design cast.

Remarks:
Funded through the City of Baltimore's Percent for Art Program at a cost of $21,000. The sculpture is popularly known as "The Question Mark." The artist was chosen by Smith and Veale, the architectural firm responsible for the school building. The sculpture was cleaned by Steven Tatti during the summer of 1991.
