    Remarks: 
    Father Junipero Serra, 1713-1784, was a Spanish Franciscan missionary in Mexico and California. Fr. Serra was beatified in 1988. The bust of Fr. Serra was presented to the citizens of San Mateo, California by the San Mateo Serra Club in 1969.
