    Remarks: 
    The monument was erected by the citizens of Nahant in honor of those who died in World War II. The monument was later inscribed in honor of those who died in the Vietnam War. The monument cost $3,500 and was initiated with the appointment of a monument committee in 1948. IAS files contain excerpts from the Nahant Town Reports from 1950 and 1951.
