    Description: 
    An abstract sculpture comprised of a large "slab" of steel with two intersecting triangles welded on and serving as "feet." A round circle is inserted at a 90 degree angle in the center. The sculpture is painted with an enamel red paint and sits atop a base of wooden slats.

    Formerly located Lionshead Mall, Parking structure, Facing West Meadow Drive, Vail, Colorado 1990-1993.
    Remarks: 
    The sculpture was gift of David and Micki Chatkin of Pittsburgh (General Purpose Steel, Inc.) in 1900. The sculpture was originally installed in Lionshead Mall, at the Lionshead Parking Structure. It was repainted in 1993 before being moved to its current site. An attached fact sheet to the SOS! survey and the Vail Daily article state that the piece was acquired in Sept. 1990. The plaque gives the dedication date as Dec. 17, 1990 and the SOS! survey gives the date as Feb. 14, 1991. IAS files include related articles from the Vail Daily, Nov. 25, 1990 and the Vail Trail, Dec. 7, 1990, which both include photographs of the work in its original site. IAS files also include pertinent correspondence between the donor and the Town.
