    Remarks: 
    In 1969, the Port Authority Art Committee commissioned Rosati's sculpture, selecting it from a group of models dating from 1962. Inscription on a original nearby marker read: JAMES ROSATI/AMERICAN BORN 1912/IDEOGRAM 1967/28' LONG X 23' HIGH/STAINLESS STEEL.     On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, a terrorist attack destroyed the twin World Trade Center towers and the area immediately surrounding them. The fate of the sculpture is unknown.
