    Description: 
    Full-length female figure seated on the top of a gravestone. Her legs and long gown drape over the front of the stone. She has long, flowing hair and her gaze is directed downward. On her proper right side is a vertical oval shield which rests on top of the gravestone. Hovering in front of the shield is a cherub with wings. The cherub writes on the shield with its proper right hand. The marble sculpture and gravestone end in two steps. Lying across the bottom step is an ornamental lead wreath. The sculpture stands on a rectangular granite base.
