Sculpture: sheet aluminum, painted brown, white, & pink, redwood, with plastic covered ears, tail, horns and udders; Base: concrete.

Sculpture: approx. 52 x 46 x 80 in.; Base: (level with the ground) approx. 36 x 48 x 65 in.

One of eight sculptures in a group consisting of five sheep and three cows. Cow #2 is a sculpture of a brown cow with white face, chest, and legs. The nose and udders are painted pink. The surfaces have been painted in a hard-edge style. Wooden seating planks project from each side of the cow's mid-section. The cow is standing and facing Crane Street which directly ahead of it. It is the middle cow of the group. The group is situated in a large grassy, football field size area.

Located Eastwick, 84th & Crane Streets, southeast corner, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

A plaque, now missing, was located on a rock at the corner of 84th and Crane Streets and featured an inscription which stated the name of the artist, the initiator (the Redevelopment Authority of Philadelphia), and a reference about the various developers of the Eastwick area who funded the project.
