Description:
One of four sculptures in a group consisting of a man and three dogs. Dog #3 is a sculpture of a reclining, stylized and planar, black and white border collie. The dog is lying in front and to the proper right of the male figure on a bench. The dog is lying straight, facing Crane Street with its tail pointed to its proper right. The paint is flat and shiny. Dog #3 shares the same base as Man on Bench (PA000068).

Remarks:
A plaque, now missing, was located on a rock at the corner of 84th and Crane Streets and featured an inscription which stated the name of the artist, the initiator (the Redevelopment Authority of Philadelphia), and a reference about the various developers of the Eastwick area who funded the project. Created as part of the Percent for Art program.
