    Full-length figure of a World War I soldier in uniform. His jacket is open in the front and he wears an ammunition belt. He looks down to his proper left. The metal sculpture stands on a rectangular granite base.

    Remarks: 
    Cost of the sculpture was under $1,000. The sculpture was originally sited on private property at the corner of Hamburg and Newark Turnpikes in Riverdale. It was later relocated to its current location on the school grounds. IAS files contain copy of related excerpt from the journal "Fiftieth Anniversary of The Borough 1923-1973".
