    Remarks:
The figure reportedly held a rifle in his proper left hand. After two replacement rifles were stolen the hand was reconstructed and left empty. He also may have held a grenade in his proper right hand. The sculpture was painted in its current bronze coloring about 1991. Prior to 1991, it was painted in "natural" colors, including flesh tones for the face and hands.
