An abstract sculpture consisting of tubes of different heights cut on the diagonal at their top and placed in two diagonal and two parallel rows. Fifteen of the original thirty tubes are missing. The sculpture is mounted on a rectangular stepped base.

Formerly located Walter P. Carter Elementary School, 820 East 43rd Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21212 until 2007.

The sculpture was commissioned through the City's Percent for Art program for the new elementary school. For related information see Leslie M. Freudenheim's "Baltimore's Public Art 1960-1980," 1980; and Henry and Caroline Naylor's "Public Monuments & Sculpture of Baltimore: An Introduction to the Collection," 1987. The Baltimore Banner (September 26, 2023) notes that in 1992 half of the bronze tubes were missing and by 2007 all of the remaining bronze tubes were gone.
