Description:
In the recessed entry of the south portal, the entrance doors are flanked by eight jamb figures representing Christ's invitation, "Come Unto Me." On the right, the biblical figures are: the widow who gave her mite, the sick spirit, Nicodemus, and Lazarus. On the left, the biblical figures are: the boy with loaves and fishes, blind Bartimaeus, the woman by the well, and Judas Iscariot who rejected Christ's invitation. Above, in the archivolt, there are forty-four angels representing the Nature of Christ.

Remarks:
The eight jamb figures were carved in the Monjo's studio in Spain and were installed by December 1966. The forty-four angels were modeled in Spain, and were carved in situ by Roger
Morigi
and Frank Zic over five years.
