Standing figure of Nathan
Hale
with his hands tied behind his back. He is dressed in simple period attire. The figure is mounted atop a tapered base that features a laurel wreath relief on its front and inscriptions on front and back.

(1755-1776), an American Revolutionary hero, was a Continental army captain who spied on the British on Long Island. He was captured and hanged by the British. The monument was the gift of the Nathan
