WILLIAMS INC./BRONZE FOUNDRY NY C.2/1772 signed Founder's mark appears. Description:  The work is the figure of a face; the neckline and hairline look ripped off, almost as if the medium was paper. Subject:  Figure -- Fragment -- Face Study Object Type:  Sculpture Owner:  Metropolitan Museum of Art, 5th Avenue at 82nd Street, New York, New York 10028 Accession Number: 1974.324 Remarks:  The work is a study for the mourning Victory in the Melvin Memorial in Concord, Massachusetts.
