    Description: 
    This was a site piece with organic curves of concrete, which formed steps and places to sit. There were plantings within these forms, with a central fountain or pool. A mural on the adjoining wall corresponds to the ground plan of the concrete terraces.

    Remarks: 
    Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant of $10,000 given in 1976-1977 to the New York State Council on the Arts. Additional funding was provided by the New York State Arts Council (NYSAC). A 1991 statement from artist notes that "after repeated bad maintenance, water pool and waterfall were removed and work altered (buried half underground) and planted not following artist's suggestions. Disowned by artist in 1987."
