Description:
World War I "doughboy" in field uniform, with proper right arm upraised holding a grenade; proper left arm holding a rifle. He is walking on rough ground, with tree stump behind, and barbed wire. He wears hob-nailed boots, carrying a pack and ammunition. The sculpture sits atop a high carved granite base. A bronze plaque with veterans' names is mounted on the base.
