Description:
The sculpture features white granite figures of Christ and the good thief Dismas crucified next to each other on bending black granite crosses. The crosses are joined at the top and at the bottom to form an almond shape. Christ, wearing a crown of thorns and a loincloth, extends his free proper right hand toward Dismas. Dismas, also wearing a loincloth, is bound to his cross with ropes tied around his wrists and ankles. His head is turned to look over at the figure of Christ on his proper left.
