Remarks:
Silas Tracey Toncray, was the son of Daniel and Hulda (Tracy) Toncray, and brother of Maria (Toncray) (Watkins) Stevenson, one of Little Rock's earliest female residents. Toncray was a Baptist minister who organized the first church in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, in 1824 in the home of his sister (Mrs. Watkins at the time). He was also a silversmith and some of his silver pieces still remain in Arkansas.
