Description:
Family grouping of six full-length figures nestled against the palm of a hand is installed on the facade of the Woodmen Accident and Life Company. The parents stand in the center, the mother holding a baby in her proper left arm. Her proper right arm is around a little girl and the father's proper left arm is around a little boy. A younger girl stands in the center. The figures are mostly nude except for drapery.

Formerly located Woodmen Accident and Life Insurance Company, 1526 K Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508 ca. 1955.
Formerly located Assurity Life Insurance Company, 1526 K Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508 until 2012.
Remarks:
Commissioned for the Woodmen Accident and Life Company, later becoming the Assurity Life Insurance Company. The sculpture became the Company's logo. In 2007, the State of Nebraska agreed to purchase the building, and finalized the purchase on Jan. 3, 2012 after Assurity Life Insurance Company moved to its newly constructed headquarters at 1900 Q Street. The artist's four children posed for the sculpture. IAS files include related articles from the Lincoln Journal-Star, Oct. 1955 and Dec. 25,1955; and a centennial publication from Woodmen Accident and Life Company. IAS files also contain an article from the Lincoln Journal Star, July 19, 2012, detailing the purchase of the building by the State of Nebraska.
