    Description: 
    Family portrait group with Sir George Sitwell (1860-1943) standing with his arm around his daughter Edith (1887-1964) at left; Lady Ida Sitwell (ca. 1868-1937) standing at center at a round table where she arranges red anemones in a bowl; and the two sons, Osbert (1892-1969) and Sacheverell (1897-1990) sit on the floor with a dog and a board game at right. The figures stand is a domestic interior with a sideboard and tapestry in the background. Lady Ida wears a white evening dress and a black hat with white feathers and red ribbons. Sir George wears riding-dress and Edith wears a red dress.
