    Remarks: 
    The bust was commissioned to commemorate David Sarnoff's induction into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 1984. Sarnoff headed RCA and founded the NBC Network. The bust was one of several pieces in place in place for the May 4, 1991 dedication of the Academy's new headquarters. The bust's selection and placement in the plaza was overseen by the Hall of Fame Sculpture Committee, chaired by architect Jan Scott. Scott also designed the base for the bust.
