    Description: 
    Bas-relief depicts American patriots participating in the Battle of Bennington. The principal figures are in the foreground above the incised inscriptions of their names. The remaining soldiers march with their rifles on their proper right shoulders toward a wooded area. A pair of Indians and another soldier are seen running on the far right of the relief.
