Remarks:
Anna Beall Rose married George Frederick Richards on Oct. 16, 1816. Anna Beal Rose was the granddaughter of George Beall, who owned all the land known as Georgetown in Washington, DC. Her husband, George Frederick Richards, was the son of Jane Day and George Richards who married on Jan. 15, 1781 in Old North Church in Boston, Massachusetts. George Frederick Richards was born ca. 1782 in Boston and died April 14, 1846 in Leesburg, Virginia. This family portrait was probably painted in Washington, DC.
