Description:
Approximately 100 sculptures of various people, animals and children and installed throughout the grounds of a private home. The sculptures are mostly free-standing, three-dimensional figures and there are two reliefs. Figurative pieces include several Adam and Eve groups, a self-portrait and portraits of figures acquainted with the artist, including Alley Clark, a blacksmith, Jim Marvin, a stone worker and C. S. Mott, a Flint philanthropist. Other figures are depicted in various professions, including a policeman, banker and minister. One of the reliefs depicts Adam and Eve figures on a landscape with various animals. The other relief depicts the artist and his brother-in-law, a farmer, talking in front of a tractor. Other figures and animals also appear in this relief.
