Remarks:
The Land Grant Frescoes are an interpretation of the Morrill Land Grant Act signed by Abraham Lincoln on July 2, 1862. The Act provided for the establishment of one of more institutions of higher learning in each state. The fresco is composed of five main groups of figures. The fresco is a gift of the Class of 1946.
