    Description: 
    Installed over the entrance are twelve life-size figures representing medical science innovators and allegorical figures representing individuals aided by their research. Figures are placed in four groups of three. One group represents Hippocrates, Galen, and John Hunter. Another group represents Louis Pasteur, Andreas Vesalius, and William Harvey. And, between these two groups is an angel flanked by an elderly male figure and a female figure holding a child.
