Formerly in the collection of Kankakee State Hospital, Kankakee, Illinois 1892-1971.

In 1892 G. P. A. Healy presented the Kankakee State Hospital with a gift of seventy-one paintings, plus additional sketches. This painting is one of twenty-three paintings transferred to the Illinois State Museum in 1971. This painting is a copy of one that Healy did in 1856, which was presented to the Chicago Historical Society.
