Remarks:
Born in London, England on June 1, 1808. His first wife was named Mary Anne and his second wife, Elizabeth Jane Phillips, he married in Toronto, Canada in 1858. She was the daughter of Thomas Phillips of Hamilton, Canada. He was a major in the Canadian army, an actor, and theater manager in the U.S. and Canada. He died in Cincinnati, Ohio, Feb. 9, 1864.
