Description:
Four full-length limestone figures adorn the outside of a building. A figure of St. Augustine stands in a niche on the southeast corner of the east courtyard. He holds a quill in his proper right hand. His proper left hand is raised to his shoulder and holds an object, palm out. He wears a bishop's mitre and robes. The front of his robe is decorated with a grape vine. A figure of St. Jerome stands in a niche on the south side of the east courtyard. He is emaciated and wears a loin cloth. He holds an unfurled scroll in his proper left hand and an object in his proper right hand. A full-length figure of Cardinal Newman stands above the west entrance on the south side of the building. He wears ecclesiastical robes and hat. His head is bowed. A full-length figure of St. Patrick stands in a niche on the south facade of the building. He wears a bishop's robes and mitre. A child stands at his proper left side.
