    Remarks: 
    Juliana Force of the Whitney Museum asked Roy E. King to submit designs for the grilled entrance and columns on the Brooklyn Public Library by architects Alfred Morton Githens and Francis Keally. The architects liked the design, and promised a job working with sculptor Carl Paul Jennewein, but the commission did not happen. In 1936, the column design was in the hands of the architects.
