A portrait of Sid McMath dressed in 1940s era shirt and slacks, his right arm raised, and his hat held up in his right hand as he walks across the plaza. The portrait is based on a 1949 photograph of Arkansas Governor Sid McMath walking with President Harry Truman. Surrounding the figure are ten large medallions installed on individual concrete bases arranged in a semicircle. Images on the medallions reflect events in the life of Sid McMath.
