    Commemorates Civil War Brigadier General Samuel B. Maxey. Monument is located on land that was formerly Vicksburg National Military Park. Erected by the federal government. The monument is on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures (LCS no. 03331). IAS files contain a copy of the LCS report form. Bronze cost $615 paid by Federal Government.
