    Description: 
    Full-length portrait of Jose Mas Ferrer, Accountant of the Province and City of Popayan. He stands next to a chinoiserie commode with an inkwell, books, and note on top. He wears a red coat over a dark vest and red pants. He holds a tricorn hat under his proper left arm. His proper right hand is positioned under his vest. Through the window, in the rear wall of the room, a two mast sailing vessel sails in the Bay of San Juan.

    Remarks: 
    Painting seems to have been part of luggage lost during the Battle of Vitoria against the English. Then taken to London and later attributed to Francisco de Goya by Mayer.
