Bust of Brigadier General Michael K. Lawler in uniform and wearing a beard and moustache. The bust is set atop a two-sectioned base with an inscribed plaque.

Remarks:
Brigadier General Michael K. Lawler commanded a brigade for the Union Army during the Vicksburg campaign. He was later promoted to Major General. Erected by the federal government. The monument is on the National Park Service List of Classified Structures (LCS no. 03326). IAS files contain a copy of the LCS report form. Bronze cost $622.5 paid by the Federal Government.
