Inscription:  VSH J Berchem, Chicago IL (On lower section of relief plaque, beneath portrait, raised:) WM. J. LANDRAM/ COL. 19TH KENTUCKY INF./COMMANDING 2ND BRIGADE/10TH DIVISION 13TH CORPS/MARCH 29 - JULY 4, 1863 signed Founder's mark appears. Description:  A bust-length relief portrait of Colonel William J. Landram in military uniform, wearing a mustache and beard. The portrait is above an inscription, and a decorated border surrounds the relief plaque and separates the inscription from the portrait. The relief plaque is affixed to the upper section of a two-sectioned base.
