    Description: 
    An oval bas-relief bust profile of a clean-shaven man, perhaps Sydney J. Johnson, with curly hair, wearing a bow tie, high collar, and jacket. The relief is inset into the smooth, recessed, middle section of a large, rough-hewn block. The recess also has an open polished scroll with an inscription partially covering a curved, leafy branch.

    Remarks: 
    Sydney J. Johnson, 1866-1899, was a banker, Little Rock City Treasurer, and Pulaski County Deputy Circuit Clerk. He died from complications of a broken leg, an injury sustained while sledding.
