Description:
Bust of Dr. David Thomas Iglehart that was once part of a fountain. He is depicted from mid-torso up. He is dressed in a jacket with lapels, buttoned almost up to his neck. He wears a shirt and tie and has a goatee and moustache. The bust is mounted on a tapered, cylindrical pedestal.

Remarks:
The bust of David Thomas Iglehart was commissioned by his wife, Fanny Chambers Iglehart, shortly after his death. The bust was originally part of a fountain, donated to the City of Austin by Mrs. Iglehart and Mr. Iglehart's cousin.
