Isaac Lane Goodloe, born Nov. 28, 1836 and died Oct. 23, 1885, was the the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Atlas Goodloe, Sr. (Mary Lane Goodloe) of Cherokee, Alabama. He married to Ellen Malone. This portrait was painted by William Frye at about the same time as a portrait of his mother, Mary Lane Goodloe, in 1857.
