Remarks:
Canvas cut down from larger full-length portrait to half-length. Full portrait was exhibited at the opening of the A.A. Anderson Gallery in 1930, at what is now part of the Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA.
Finch served as Judge of the Court of Appeals, State of New York, 1922-1943.
