"A large castle with a courtyard. Lower center the Earl of Leicester in dark green, belted costume (mid-16th century) stands facing to the left. To his right is Queen Elizabeth I of England dressed in a similar green costume, large white collar and red hair, touches the head of Amy Robsart, who is kneeling at her side. Groups of brightly-costumed courtiers and ladies witness the scene. A blue sky is seen behind the castle."
