The cross is decorated with bas-relief symbols: at the top is a Chi-Rho, on one arm is an Alpha, on the other arm an Omega, in the center a triangle and on the lower leg of the cross a bishop's miter. The four sides of the top tier of the base are carved with high relief symbols of the four Evangelists: on the front a winged angel's head; on the proper right is a lion head with wings; on the proper left is an eagle; on the back is a winged bull's head. On each of the four sides of the main tier of the base is a bronze medallion with bas-relief portrait. The front portrait is a bust of Bishop Bradley. He is shown is proper right profile. He wears a bishop's cassock and cross. Near his proper left shoulder are a chalice and host. The portrait on the proper right side of the base is a bust of Bishop Delany. He wears a bishop's cassock and a cross. The portrait on the proper left side of the base is a bust of Bishop Guertin. He is shown in proper left profile.
