Pruden 1851 signed Description:  The stone is carved in relief with an emblem depicting Kentucky political figures Henry Clay and John T. Crittenden shaking hands. The figures are enclosed in an oval wreath of leaves carved in relief. Two garlands of leaves flank the wreath, and an inscription carved in relief appears below each garland. The stones were donated by states, cities, towns, organizations, individuals, and foreign countries in honor of George Washington. The State of Kentucky donated the stone, which is located at the 230 ft. level.
