Remarks:
Lyman R. Critchfield Sr. (1831-1917) prominent local lawyer; founder of Critchfield law firm. In1853 he was admitted to the Ohio Bar and began the practice of law in Millersburg, Ohio; became Prosecuting attorney of Holmes County, Ohio; the Attorney-General for the State of Ohio 1863-1865; and served as a State Senator of Ohio.
