    Self-portrait of Colin Campbell Cooper, standing in his California studio, his body turned slightly to the right, his head turned to face the viewer. He wears a pair of dark-rimmed spectacles, and a vest and tie with a white shirt. In his right hand he holds a palette and brushes. In the background there is a window seat on the right and two paintings hanging by a door on the left.
