Remarks:
Falsely accused Texas Tech student Timothy Cole spent thirteen years in prison until his death in 1999 before he received a posthumous pardon in in 2010. The sculpture, installed close to the campus of Texas Tech, was funded with $250,000 from the law firm of Glasheen, Valles, and Inderman.
