Description:
Family portrait with Azariah Caverly (1792-1843) seated at a table at left holding a newspaper; his second wife, Eliza Tasker (1812-1870), seated at a table at right with her young daughter, Sarah Jane (1835-1865), in her lap; and their child, George A. (1833-1916), standing at center reaching up to his father's table. A detailed drawing and writing implements are on Azariah's table; a vase of flowers and book are on Eliza's table. George holds a carpenter's square. A painting draped in garland hangs at center.
