    Jeremiah Clemens Caldwell II (b. Sept. 21, 1853, d. Nov. 17, 1919) and Charles Wickliffe Caldwell (b. Oct. 5, 1851, d. Oct. 5, 1863, of scarlet fever) were the only children of Jeremiah Clemens Caldwell I and Margaret Wilson, who married in 1850.
