    Cylindrical granite column stands on a square base. The column is capped by a globe. A bronze plaque with a relief portrait of George H. Blakeslee adorns the front of the base.

    Remarks: 
    Blakeslee was known for his advocacy of building good roads in the state of New Jersey. The monument was funded by a ten-year subscription drive.
