Remarks:
Born in Dec. 25, 1794 in Athens, Alabama, the son of Joseph Mosby Binford and Eliza Frances (Hardyman) Binford. His father was a member of the North Carolina legislature and was a member of the convention that framed the Constitution. Abner Binford, a planter, married Anne Eliza Jones of Athens. He died Aug. 23, 1849 in Athens.
