    Remarks: 
    Supporters of the memorial hope to have the memorial installed in Balloon Park in August 2013 to commemorate the 199th anniversary of the August 1814 battle. The memorial was funded in part with a $125,000 bond bill and $60,000 from the Aman Trust, a local nonprofit that supports historic preservation. Prince George's County donated the land in Balloon Park.
